Meet your dentist

Dr. Wayne Kinney

I'm not here to force you into any treatment. I'll just tell you what I see and how I suggest fixing it.

“People and relationships are among life’s most valuable things, and dentistry is a great fit.”

“Your teeth are vital to your appearance, health, and wellness. Investing in these three things brings enormous benefits for the life you choose. I know how to help you achieve it.”

After graduating from high school in Omaha, Nebraska, I moved to Indianapolis and have called it home since 1974. I did spend three years away in the Air Force Dental Corps at Langley AFB in Virginia.

I have been married to my wife, Lois, for more than 38 years, and we have three children and two grandchildren, who bring immense joy to my life. Faith and family have always been the cornerstone of my life, and my dental practice reflects those values.

Dentistry is a profession, a passion, and a means to help people. I wake up every day excited to work and collaborate with a team that shares my vision of providing skillful and compassionate care to those in need.

As a healthcare provider, I am privileged to be entrusted with caring for people’s well-being. Every individual has immense potential, and my philosophy of excellence and total patient care is built upon the foundation of this sacred trust.

Professional Experience

In the Spotlight: Getting to Know Dr. Kinney

What do you do outside of the office?

I enjoy spending time with my family in whatever situation. I am an avid tennis player and love time on the water, boating with friends.

What was the best day of your life and why?

This is a hard question because there are many candidates. But if I had to pick one, it would be my wedding day because so many of the other ‘bests’ are connected to this one decision.

Who is your hero? Why?

My father, Don Kinney, is my hero. Although he has passed, his lessons live on in me. He taught me how to be a man and live for a cause greater than myself.

What is an interesting fact about you?

When I was in the Air Force, I was awarded a flight in the backseat of an F-15 during a training mission. I don’t know how unique that makes me, but it was an unforgettable experience.
